NEW MARKET ENGAGEMENT IN HUMANITARIAN RELIEF: COMMUNICATIONS, STRATEGY & PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS

ADS, Inc. provides industry-leading equipment and logistics support solutions to U.S. government agencies, first responders, law enforcement and partner nations around the world. During the 2014 Ebola crisis in Liberia, ADS was positioned to fill an emergency need in the international community’s response efforts, sourcing and delivering critical construction materiel and operational support equipment for 12 emergency health care facilities. The experience ignited a desire within ADS to supply goods to the international humanitarian aid and emergency response markets – and a lot of questions about just how to do that.

Galvanize Partners worked alongside the ADS team to design a market engagement strategy developing digital collateral to support outreach to this new customer base and cultivating the personal relationships with international NGOs and UN procurement officers to help kick start the new market entry. Galvanize created an engagement calendar to position ADS as a leader in the space, and advised and provided comprehensive executive support to ADS leadership as they told their story at global development procurement convenings in Kenya, Washington DC, New York and California.
